Somatic Experiencing is a gentle body focused therapy with which I aim to support you to release stored tension and restore balance to your system, bringing you the freedom and capacity to live your life more fully.

Transforming Trauma - Somatic Experiencing

I came to Somatic Experiencing with wanting to understand and work with my own Complex PTSD, through which I have struggled with both shame and chronic stress. Cognitive therapies helped me understand my issues but have not created lasting change.  

My understanding of my own experience through the lens of Somatic Experiencing has given me insight into the effect of Developmental Childhood Trauma and a pathway to help those affected by it. I’m passionate working within this area of trauma and helping clients towards liberating themselves from the debilitating effects of adverse childhood experiences.
